About "8 Chansons françaises, FP 130: No. 5, C'est la petit' fill' du prince" by Cambridge Singers
Poulenc's miniature chanson is a gem of wit and tenderness, the Cambridge Singers navigating its playful text with crystalline diction. The melody skips like a child at a village fair, yet a wistful harmonic shadow flickers beneath—a gentle, knowing smile in the choral texture.
