About This Song
About "Concerto No. 7 "Alla Portugesa" in B-Flat Major, Op. 7: I. Allegro" by Andreas Staier
This Allegro from the Alla Portugesa concerto bursts with Baroque swagger. Staier's harpsichord sparkles through the ensemble, all crisp ornaments and buoyant rhythm—a courtly dance that never loses its edge of improvisatory danger.
