About This Song
About "Everyone Will Crawl" by Charlie Sexton Sextet
A swaggering, horn-laced groove underpins a bleak observation: everyone falls eventually. Sexton's sextet turns the crawl into a sweaty, brass-driven strut, equal parts menace and dark humor. The tension between the funky rhythm and the grim lyric creates a delicious, unsettled friction.
