About "Schubert: String Quartet No. 14 in D Minor, D. 810 "Death and the Maiden": II. Andante con moto" by Borodin Quartet
Schubert's 'Death and the Maiden' Andante con moto walks a tightrope between serenity and terror. The Borodin Quartet lets the melody bloom like a flower on a grave, each variation a step closer to the abyss, beautiful and unnerving.
