About "Le nozze di Figaro, K.492 / Act 1 : Mozart: Le nozze di Figaro, K.492 / Act 1: N. 1. Duettino: “Cinque… dieci… venti… trenta”" by Christiane Karg
The opera opens with a duettino of domestic geometry: ‘Cinque… dieci… venti… trenta.’ Karg and her partner measure the room, the space, the future—each number a brick in a fragile dream. The melody is bright but brittle, a blueprint for happiness that we already suspect will be scribbled over by desire.
