About This Song
About "Cherokee" by Charlie Parker Quintet
'Cherokee' is the crucible where bebop's fire was forged, and Parker's quintet attacks it with locomotive precision. The changes fly by like telephone poles on a midnight highway, each solo a daredevil leap. Exhilarating, relentless, and utterly alive.
