About "D. Scarlatti: Keyboard Sonata in E-Flat Major, Kk. 193" by Alexis Weissenberg
Scarlatti's E-flat major sonata sparkles like a chandelier in a ballroom, Weissenberg's articulation crisp and buoyant. Yet beneath the glitter, a hint of wistfulness lingers—a smile that doesn't quite reach the eyes. It's elegant, effervescent, and quietly bittersweet.
