About This Song
About "Jolivet : Sérénade for oboe, piano & wind quintet : IV Marche burlesque" by André Jolivet
A marche burlesque that limps and struts in equal measure. The oboe leads a wind quintet through a cartoonish procession—comically stiff, deliberately awkward—where the humor carries a bite. It's the sound of a parade gone slightly wrong, and the unease is the point.
