About "Variations on a Theme by Haydn, Op. 56b : Brahms: Variations on a Theme by Haydn, Op. 56b: Var. 4. Andante con moto" by Aloys Kontarsky

The fourth variation arrives like a slow exhale, Kontarsky drawing out Brahms's andante con moto with velvet gravity. The theme dissolves into a hush, each chord a dimmed lamp in a corridor where calm and melancholy hold hands.
