Saturday Night in Oak Grove, Louisiana

You get home just about sundown
And dunk into the shower
And now you started to run around
And you know you've only got an hour
To comb your hair and put your good clothes on
Everything has gotta be right 'cause it's saturday nite

You call your best friend on the telephone
And just about seven you hear him coming
With his fiberclass mufflers on his pick up truck

Cause when you look good uh baby you feel good
Everything is gonna be right 'cause it's saturday nite

You got to town and circle the dairy queen
To see who is hanging out
With your head all stuck out the window
You don't care if it all hangs out
Cause when you feel good uhu mama you look good
Everything is gonna be right 'cause it's saturday nite
