About This Song
About "About It" by Apollo Brown
Brown chops a pleading vocal into a stuttering question, the beat lurching forward like a conversation you can’t escape. There’s a tense negotiation between the sample’s warmth and the drums’ cold insistence, asking what you’re really about.
