About This Song
About "Don't Get Old (In Tony's Britain)" by Angelic Upstarts
A bitter barb at Thatcher's Britain, 'Don't Get Old (In Tony's Britain)' trades fury for a weary, knowing sneer. The song's chugging rhythm and shouted chorus evoke a generation's disillusionment, painting a grey landscape where youth is spent and the future feels like a closed shop.
