About "Stabat Mater, RV 621 : Vivaldi: Stabat Mater, RV 621: VII. Eia Mater – VIII. Fac ut ardeat – IX. Amen" by Christopher Hogwood

Hogwood conducts Vivaldi’s Stabat Mater with austere grandeur. The final movements move from sorrowful supplication to a blazing 'Amen' — a tension between grief and ecstatic release. Strings and voice intertwine like candle smoke in a chapel, flickering between stillness and fervor.
