About This Song
About "The Vampire" by Buffy Sainte Marie
A gothic folk-rock curio, 'The Vampire' stalks its prey with minor-key menace and Sainte-Marie's piercing vibrato. The organ swell and tribal drums create a ritualistic tension—desire and dread locked in a slow, hypnotic dance.
