About "Symphonie fantastique, H. 48 : Berlioz: Symphonie fantastique, H. 48: Vb. Songe d'une nuit du Sabbat. Dies irae" by Chicago Symphony Orchestra
Berlioz's witches' Sabbath is a grotesque carnival—the Dies irae twisted into a mocking dance, bells clanging, strings shrieking. The Chicago Symphony revels in the diabolical chaos, where sacred chant becomes a sneering parody. It's terror and glee intertwined, a nightmare that waltzes with unsettling, infectious energy.
