About "Jeux d'enfants, WD 56 : Bizet: Jeux d'enfants, WD 56: No. 12, Le bal" by Alfons Kontarsky
Bizet’s 'Le bal' spins a carousel of childhood fantasy: the piano becomes a music box wound too tight, glittering with toy-soldier precision. Beneath the charm, a faint mechanical anxiety—the party will end, the dancers are only dolls.
