About "Auric: Violin Sonata in G Major: II. Vif" by Alexander Lonquich
The second-movement 'Vif' is a coiled spring of neoclassical wit: violin and piano trade clipped, angular phrases like a conversation between old friends who can't stop interrupting. Under the surface, a quiet unease hums—Auric's charm always carries a splinter of irony.
