About This Song
About "Carmina Burana : Orff: Carmina Burana: III. Veris leta facies" by Chor Der Deutschen Oper Berlin
Orff's spring chorus blooms with pagan freshness—'Veris leta facies'—voices dancing in garlands of sound. Yet the rhythmic insistence hints at ritual's undercurrent: nature's rebirth as both celebration and surrender.
