About "10 National Airs with Variations, Op. 107 (Flute Version) : Beethoven: 10 National Airs with Variations, Op. 107 (Flute Version): No. 6, Peggy's Daughter" by Cecile Licad
Beethoven's variations on 'Peggy's Daughter' become a delicate conversation between flute and piano. Licad's touch is feather-light, tracing the folk melody with affectionate ornamentation. The mood is a wistful, sun-dappled nostalgia—a gentle dance of remembrance.
