Mozart: Piano Sonata No. 16 in C Major, K. 545 "Sonata facile": I. Allegro

About "Mozart: Piano Sonata No. 16 in C Major, K. 545 "Sonata facile": I. Allegro" by Khatia Buniatishvili

Mozart's 'Sonata facile' is anything but easy under Buniatishvili's fingers—she finds wit and shadow in the Allegro's bouncing theme. The music skips like a child who knows a secret, all bright surfaces and tiny, mischievous hesitations. Joy with a glint of knowing irony.
