About This Song
About "My Cousin Niño" by Cecil Payne
A playful, darting melody evokes a mischievous cousin slipping through a crowded family gathering. Payne's horn traces Niño's imagined footsteps—light, elusive, full of affectionate trouble. The tune's bounce masks a wistful undercurrent, as if remembering a face that never stays still.
