About This Song
About "Wide Awake" by Barry Biggs
Biggs delivers a reggae-inflected plea for rest, his voice floating over a gentle, rocking rhythm. The title suggests insomnia, but the music feels like a lullaby—a paradox of wakefulness wrapped in soothing warmth. The tension between alertness and surrender lingers.
