About This Song
About "Ragnarok" by Alexander Skancke
Named for the Norse apocalypse, this track doesn't rage but simmers—a slow-burning house epic where detuned synths flicker like distant fires. Skancke finds tension in the pause before collapse: a steady kick drum marching toward the edge while celestial pads promise something beyond the wreckage.
