About "The Wondrous Cross (Live)" by Christy Nockels
A live rendering of the old, strange wonder of the cross—not triumphant brass but a hush of awe. Nockels lets the melody breathe like a held note of grief and gratitude. The tension is between the wood’s brutality and the mercy it carries: a paradox sung, not explained.
