About "The Cactus" by 3rd Bass
A prickly metaphor blooms in 3rd Bass's hands. 'The Cactus' is a boom-bap parable—spiny exterior, hidden water—its title a warning against easy touch. The tension between arid beats and fertile wordplay makes this a desert you want to get lost in.
