About This Song
About "Le petit Grégoire" by André Claveau
A child's name becomes a ghost in Claveau's throat—gentle, rueful, almost a warning. The song moves like a nursery rhyme gone wrong, its warmth shadowed by the knowledge that little Grégoire will grow into a world that forgets him.
