About "In Defense of Drinking" by Tyler Halverson
Tyler Halverson raises a glass to contradiction, where a honky-tonk sway masks a quiet reckoning. The pedal steel glints like a barroom mirror at closing time, and the song's easy groove carries a stubborn unease—a defense that feels less like a victory than a necessary surrender.
