About "Star Trek Main Theme" by Michael Giacchino
Giacchino’s main theme for Star Trek Into Darkness is a rousing, brass-forward fanfare with a martial pulse. It updates the original’s optimism with darker undertones—heroic swells shadowed by minor chords, suggesting a crew hurtling toward conflict even as they boldly go.
