About This Song
About "I've Been Waiting For You" by Pixies
A Neil Young cover transformed into a Pixies original—urgent, wiry, and emotionally charged. The song's waiting is not passive but a coiled spring of anticipation. Jangly guitars and a driving bass create a tense, hopeful energy, like standing at a threshold, caught between longing and the fear of what comes next.
