About This Song
About "His Heart Beats" by Andrew Peterson
A pulse runs through this song—literal and figurative—as if a heart is beating just beneath the mix. The rhythm is steady, almost clinical, yet the atmosphere is charged with anticipation. Peterson transforms a physical organ into a metaphor for awakening, each thump a small resurrection against the silence.
