About This Song
About "La Bohème / Act 3 : Puccini: La Bohème / Act 3: "Sa dirmi, scusi" (Live)" by Anna Netrebko
Dawn at the city gates, snow on the cobblestones, and a dying woman asking directions. Netrebko's Mimì is all politeness and exhaustion, each syllable a small surrender. The orchestral frost bites at her phrases; you hear a body running out of time, still apologizing for the inconvenience of its own disappearance.
