About "Gaspard de la nuit, M. 55 : Ravel: Gaspard de la nuit, M. 55: II. Le Gibet" by Alice Sara Ott
A gallows looms in Ravel's spectral miniature: Ott draws out the tolling bell with glacial patience, each chord a drop of cold water on stone. The calm is deceptive—beneath the hollow repetitions, unease coils like mist around a corpse.
