About This Song
About "Folk Broke Woke Banger" by Peter Power
A title that sounds like a contradiction, and the track delivers on that tension: a pumping, leftfield club cut where folk signifiers are chopped into a relentless rhythm. Peter Power builds a sweaty, playful banger that dares you to take the 'woke' seriously while your body moves.
