About This Song
About "Tchaikovsky: String Quartet No. 1 in D Major, Op. 11: II. Andante cantabile" by Borodin Quartet
Tchaikovsky's Andante cantabile is a lullaby with a tear in its eye, the Borodin Quartet drawing a warm, singing tone. The music's tender surface barely conceals a melancholy that lingers like dusk, calm yet quietly devastated.
