About This Song
About "Rachmaninoff: Vocalise, Op 34, No. 14" by Alisa Weilerstein
Rachmaninoff’s Vocalise, wordless yet eloquent, floats on Weilerstein’s cello like a distant memory. The melody yearns without resolution, a slow-burning ache that swells and recedes. Her tone is velvet and smoke, wrapping the listener in a warm, melancholic embrace.
