About This Song
About "Dala" by Ayub Ogada
Dala means home, and Ogada renders it not as a place but as a pulse. The guitar loops like a footpath worn smooth by return, while his voice carries the weight of departure and the lightness of arrival. There's a bittersweet tension: the comfort of belonging pressed against the knowledge that home, too, changes.
