About "Prelude To A Summer" by Andrew Pekler
A prelude that never quite arrives, Pekler's 'Summer' hangs in a shimmer of unresolved chords. Heat rises off the pavement; cicadas hum in the distance. The calm is deceptive—beneath the languid drift, a subtle anxiety pulses, like a storm waiting just past the horizon.
