About "Sonata in A Minor, K 59 (L 241)" by Vladimir Horowitz
Scarlatti's A Minor sonata is a study in contrasts: brittle harpsichord gestures reborn on piano, Horowitz's fingers striking sparks. The music darts like a lizard on hot stone, then pauses in sudden shadow. Tension resides in the abrupt shifts—baroque wit twisted into modern anxiety.
