About This Song
About "2 Bourrees, B160b : Chopin: 2 Bourrees, B160b: No. 1 In G Minor" by Anatol Ugorski
Chopin’s first Bourrée in G minor is a rustic sketch, yet Ugorski finds its hidden ache. The rhythm’s folkish stamp becomes a nervous heartbeat, the tune a flicker of peasant joy shadowed by an unspoken longing—brief, vivid, strangely haunting.
