About "Années de pèlerinage I, S. 160 : Liszt: Années de pèlerinage I, S. 160: II. Au lac de Wallenstadt" by Lazar Berman
Berman's piano ripples like water lapping at Lake Wallenstadt, each note a droplet of stillness. Liszt's miniature becomes a meditation on solitude—the melody drifting between serenity and a faint, unspoken melancholy, as if the lake's surface conceals depths too vast to fathom.
