About "Overture in D Major for 2 oboes, 2 horns and strings : Telemann: Overture in D Major for 2 oboes, 2 horns and strings: 1. Ouverture (maestoso - Allegro)" by Celia Nicklin

Telemann’s Overture opens with maestoso grandeur—two oboes and horns announcing a ceremonial D-major sunrise—before slipping into an allegro of bustling counterpoint. The tension between pomp and play is palpable: stately fanfares dissolve into quicksilver runs, calm authority giving way to irrepressible motion.
