About This Song
About "L'etincelle, La scintilla, Op. 20" by Cecile Licad
'L'etincelle' flickers like its namesake spark, Licad catching light in quick, darting phrases. Charm masks a quicksilver unease; the piece glitters and shifts, each small flame threatening to catch, a brightness that never quite holds still.
