About This Song
About "Speed Kills" by Don Walker
A wry, propulsive rocker, 'Speed Kills' takes the old warning and turns it into a barroom mantra. Walker's delivery is dry, almost amused, as guitars churn beneath. The tension is between the song's reckless momentum and its cautionary title—a thrill ride with a smirk.
