About This Song
About "Down and Out in Denver" by Amy Annelle
Denver becomes a character in 'Down and Out in Denver'—Annelle paints a cityscape of neon and regret, where the air feels thin with disappointment. The song's weary gait suggests someone walking the streets not to arrive, but to escape. Calm resignation battles a flicker of defiance.
