About This Song
About "El Twist" by Chico Valento
A vintage twist number from Spain's early '60s, 'El Twist' is all hip-swiveling brass and infectious beat. The tension is pure teenage rebellion—a clean-cut surface barely containing the urge to break loose. It's a time capsule of dance-floor joy, innocent and electric.
