About "A Prayer of Saint Patrick" by Cambridge Singers
'A Prayer of Saint Patrick' rises like a breastplate forged from light—Rutter's setting of the ancient hymn is both shield and song. The choir's crisp diction cuts through harmonic warmth, evoking a pilgrim's resolve. There's tension here: the comfort of faith wrestling with the wildness of the Irish sea.
