About This Song
About "J.F. Wagner: Under the Double Eagle" by Berlin Philharmonic Wind Ensemble
Under the Double Eagle, J.F. Wagner's march struts with brass-band swagger, the Berlin Philharmonic Winds delivering pomp with a wink. It's a parade ground of gleaming tension: ceremonial grandeur undercut by a restless, almost ironic energy, as if the eagles might suddenly take flight.
