About This Song
About "Danube Dreams" by Anton Karas
A waltzing zither drifts like a paper boat on the Danube—graceful, nostalgic, yet tinged with melancholy. Karas lets the melody ripple with old-world charm, but the undercurrent feels restless, as if the river hides more than reflections. Dreamy and subtly disquieting.
