About "Cantaloupe Island (Trumpet Off Mix)" by Angelo Ferreri
Angelo Ferreri's 'Cantaloupe Island (Trumpet Off Mix)' strips Herbie Hancock's classic to a skeletal groove. The trumpet's absence leaves a hollow, humid space where rhythm breathes—a ripe, bruised fruit of house music, sweet with melancholy and restless motion.
