About This Song
About "Wot No Meat (No Laughing Matter LP '84)" by Anti System
A sardonic punk vignette about scarcity, 'Wot No Meat' pairs a mocking title with wiry, agitated hardcore. Anti-System find dark humor in deprivation, the music jittery and lean like a hungry dog. The tension is between laughter and genuine unease at the empty plate.
